1. Swara Bhaskar
Rejected the role of Shah Rukh's mother in an upcoming movie.
Swara Bhaskar is known for her self-opinionated characters in her movies like Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Tanu Weds Manu, Raanjhana and Nil Batey Sannatta. She has always done full justice to her character and impressed audience with her impeccable acting skills. But she rejected working with Shah Rukh Khan when filmmaker Anand L. Roy offered her a role to play the character of Shah Rukh's mother in an upcoming movie.
2. Deepika Padukone
Rejected five movies opposite Salman Khan including Sultan.
It is every actress' dream to work with Salman Khan but not for Deepika Padukone. You may be surprised to know Deepika not only rejected working with Salman for once or twice but she rejected five movies where she was offered role opposite Salman Khan. 2016's highest grossing movie 'Sultan' was one of the movies which Deepika rejected.
3. Amrita Rao
Rejected to play the character of Salman's sister in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
The sanskari girl who played the character of Poonam in the movie Vivah was approaches by Rajshri Productions for the role of Salman Khan's sister in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. But Amrita wanted to do romance with Salman and not tie her rakhi. So the actress rejected the offer which was later given to Swara Bhaskar.
4. Priyanka Chopra
Rejected the movie Ghajini opposite Mr. Perfectionist.
Aamir Khan's Ghajini was the first Bollywood movie to reach the 100 crore club. The role of 'Kalpana' which was brutally killed in the movie was initially offered to one of the Bollywood's leading lady, Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka wasn't sure about the character, so Aamir Khan recommend Asin's name to the filmmaker as she also played the lead female role in the original version of the movie.
5. Aishwarya Rai
Rejected the movie Raja Hindustani opposite Aamir Khan.
One of the most beautiful actresses of Bollywood, Aishwarya too had rejected working with Aamir Khan. In one of the episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, she revealed that she rejected the offer to play the lead female role in the movie Raja Hindustani opposite Aamir Khan. She said she was quite young at that time and wanted to focus on her studies than her film career.
6. Kangana Ranaut
Rejected Shah Rukh's upcoming movie for it being male-centric.
Queen of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut is known for her outspoken attitude and witty statements. She has the capacity to carry a movie without any successful star and prefer to work in female-centric movies. She was recently offered a role by filmmaker Anand L. Roy in his upcoming project where she would have been casted opposite Shah Rukh Khan. As the movie was male-centric, she rejected it without a doubt.
7. Amy Jackson
Rejected Kick opposite Salman Khan
Before Jacqueline Fernandez, Amy Jackson was offered the lead female role in the movie Kick opposite Salman Khan. Although Amy is a great fan of Salman Khan, she had to reject the offer. The time when she was offered the role, she was in a contract with South Indian filmmaker Shankar.
8. Vidhya Balan
Rejected Kick opposite Salman Khan
Apart from Amy Jackson, the lead female role in Kick was offered to Vidhya Balan. Vidhya Balan, who is known for her strong character in various movies, didn't find the role much powerful and rejected the offer.
9. Parineeti Chopra
Rejected Kick opposite Salman Khan
After Amy Jackson and Vidhya Balan, Parineeti Chopra too was approached for the lead female role in the movie Kick opposite Salman Khan. But she also rejected the offer as the character was not much powerful. Thus, Jacqueline eventually got the lead female role in the movie opposite Salman Khan.
